Fuel Surcharge
Fuel Surcharge Information for Dalipath Delivery Company
Fuel Surcharges are index-based and adjusted monthly. Changes to the Fuel Surcharge will be effective on the first of each month. The Fuel Surcharge is assessed on the net package rate plus applicable Additional Delivery Charges. Fuel Surcharges are based on the U.S. Department of Energy's National U.S. Average On Highway Diesel Fuel Prices for the month that is two (2) months prior to the adjustment. For example, the Fuel Surcharge for the month of April 2023 is based on the National U.S. Average On-Highway Diesel Fuel Price released by the EIA for the month of February 2023. Surcharge percentages and thresholds are subject to change without prior notice.If the Fuel Surcharge falls outside the published range, the range will extend in $0.12 increments and the Fuel Surcharge will adjust in 0.25% increments.

*Unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Dalipath Delivery Company, if a Shipper's written agreement with Dalipath Delivery Company indicates that Fuel Surcharges are index based adjusted weekly and will be based on U.S. West Coast Average On-Highway Diesel Fuel Price as reported by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) (hereinafter as West Coast Fuel Surcharge") then West Coast Fuel Surcharges shall continue to apply to the Shipper's packages. Additionally, and unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Dalipath Delivery Company, if Shipper has been invoiced for West Coast Fuel Surcharges at any time prior to March 25, 2023, then West Coast Fuel Surcharges shall continue to apply to Shipper's packages. |

Additional HandlingAn Additional Handling Surcharge will be assessed for any package that requires special handling, as determined by Dalipath Delivery Company in its sole discretion, including, but not limited to:
For a package that meets multiple criteria listed above, only one Additional Handling charge will be assessed, in the following order: Weight, Length, Width, Packaging. An Additional Handling charge will not be assessed when an Over Maximum Limits Surcharge or Large Package Surcharge is applied. Dalipath Delivery Company also reserves the right to assess the Additional Handling Charge for any package that:

Address CorrectionWhen an address provided to Dalipath Delivery Company is incorrect or incomplete for purposes of completing delivery, Dalipath Delivery Company may correct or complete an address based on information obtained from the shipper or consignee. In such instance, an Address Correction Surcharge will be applied. |

Additionally, and unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Dalipath Delivery Company, if Shipper has been invoiced for Supplemental Surcharges at any time prior to March 25, 2023, then the Supplemental Surcharges shall continue to apply to the Shipper's packages, as applicable. |
